Clara Yang, Attorney at Law
Since 2003, Clara Yang has focused her law practice exclusively on estate planning, special needs planning, conservatorships, probates and trust administration. She is well respected by her clients and her colleagues. Clara appreciates the opportunity to raise her two young sons in the wonderful Mother Lode community of Placerville.
Clara combines her energy, integrity, and professional pride with a continuous effort to provide the most personal, compassionate and effective services to her clients. She is dedicated to helping her clients achieve optimal results through individually customized estate plans.
Clara earned her law degree (J.D.) from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from California State University, Sacramento (Magna Cum Laude) and a Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from California State University, Sacramento. Prior to attending law school, Clara was a senior business analyst for Hewlett Packard, in Roseville, California.
Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and Japanese, Clara is one of the few estate planning attorneys offering multi-lingual consulting in the greater Sacramento region. Clara regularly conducts legal seminars at the Cameron Park Community Center and at her office to keep the community informed of estate planning options.
Leslie Knapp, Paralegal
Leslie Knapp earned her degree in Paralegal Studies from Los Angeles City College, an American Bar Association approved school. She has worked in multiple areas of law, including medical malpractice, elder abuse, family law, and criminal law. Leslie is committed to bringing compassion and advocacy to every case she works on, with her wide breadth of experience enabling her to recognize and manage complex issues. Originally from Los Angeles, Leslie has called El Dorado County home since 2018 and currently lives in Camino with her two cats and her duck.
Ranjit Singh
Ranjit Singh brings over 20 years of experience in accounting, governmental finance, and public-sector administration. He holds an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Sacramento City College and has completed extensive accounting coursework, including financial, managerial, cost, intermediate, payroll, tax, governmental, and computerized accounting. Ranjit completed the State of California Fund Accounting Certificate through the California Department of Finance, along with Project Management and Supervisor Training programs for the State of California. His professional background includes service with the Sacramento City Unified School District, the California State Board of Equalization, and more than thirteen years with the California State Controller’s Office, Unclaimed Property Division, where he advanced to Accounting Administrator I (Supervisor). Since October 2022, Ranjit has been with the Law Offices of Clara Yang, where he applies his extensive accounting and regulatory experience to support legal and financial operations.
